“Now You See Me: Now You Don’t is a very strong follow up to the franchise despite almost a ten year gap in between films. The movie manages to keep the magic going with the same brand of heist-but-make-it-vaudeville energy that powered earlier entries. While the writing can sag a bit, there’s plenty for both new and returning fans of the franchise; the Horsemen, thankfully, are brought into the new age by both their own experiences and new blood and while the plot as usual requires you to suspend disbelief at times–it’s just a fun watch. And hey, that’s magic for you!”
