[Guest Review] Korean film “My Daughter is a Zombie” will leave you teary-eyed from laughing and crying

Free tissues at a zombie movie screening? Now that got me intrigued! Based on the trailer, I thought it was going to be a kooky take on Train to Busan but apparently, the tissues were put to good use. Since your resident family-friendly tentacled girly (that’s me!) couldn’t go, my rage elemental pal, Khan, investigated in my stead. Is it worth the hype in Korea? Check out his review below!

“Take one part Shaun of the Dead, add some family drama, and season it with the emotional writing that only East Asian films can do and you’ve got this movie. Full of heart, gags, and more than enough feels, My Daughter is a Zombie is a fun subversion of the zombie trope and will have you teary-eyed from either laughing or crying before long.”

Score: 4/5 churros
