As part of the\u00a0Superman\u00a0<\/em>World Tour, the cast and filmmakers will be visiting different countries to promote the upcoming film that’s coming out on July 9, 2025. And we’re lucky enough that the Philippines will be the first stop in the tour on June 19 at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall.<\/p>\n

May 30, Manila\u00a0– Superman is flying all over the world. His first stop: Manila, Philippines.<\/em><\/p>\n

In a post shared on Instagram today, James Gunn, Peter Safran, David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan announced their upcoming world tour for this summer\u2019s epic action adventure \u201cSuperman\u201d \u2013 and Manila is their very first stop! \u201c\u2018Superman\u2019 is coming to a city near you,\u201d they teased in the video.<\/em><\/p>\n

The film\u2019s writer\/director\/co-producer Gunn, Superman\/Clark Kent himself Corenswet, Brosnahan, who plays Lois Lane, and new Lex Luthor Hoult will be joined by Gunn\u2019s fellow DC Studios head and co-producer Peter Safran. \u201cSuperman\u201d opens only in cinemas and IMAX July 9.<\/em><\/p>\n

During their visit, the team will meet their Filipino fans in a fan event at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall on June 19.<\/em><\/p>\n

Gunn has said about \u201cSuperman\u201d: \u201cThis project is more than just a movie to me. It\u2019s a story about humanity, about what it means to be a hero in a world that doesn\u2019t always make it easy to be one. I can\u2019t wait for you to see it. The heart, the action, and the incredible performances from David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan, Nicholas Hoult and the entire cast.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cSuperman\u201d is DC Studios\u2019 first feature film to hit the big screen. Gunn is producing the film with his fellow DC Studios head Safran. Joining Corenswet, Brosnahan and Hoult in the cast are Edi Gathegi, Anthony Carrigan, Nathan Fillion, Isabela Merced, Skyler Gisondo, Sara Sampaio, Mar\u00eda Gabriela de Far\u00eda, Wendell Pierce, Alan Tudyk, Pruitt Taylor Vince and Neva Howell.<\/em><\/p>\n
