<\/p>\nIf you visited GH Mall this month then you might have noticed the large setup in the middle of everything to celebrate Women’s Month. There are photo backgrounds of feathered wings and butterfly wings so you can have your diva moment, a special quote wall where you can get a powerful quotable quote from a girl boss (I got Dolly Parton), and other empowering displays.<\/p>\n
That remaining activities you can still check out include the “Soulful fusion of music and beads” (MWF 4:00PM-6:00PM), “Origami for mindful creativity” (TTH 4:00PM-6:00PM), and the “Coloring escape for women” (everyday). There’s also been different activities for every weekend of March and for the final one, we’ve got clay art (March 29, 2:00PM-4:00PM) and diamond painting (March 30, 2:00PM-4:00PM).<\/p>\n

The free exhibit will showcase the transformative power of art in shaping women\u2019s diverse identities, voices, and stories.<\/p>\n The free exhibit features the works of creative and compassionate women artists from Davao, such as Floral Artists of Davao founder Josie Tionko and president Rita Bustamante, alongside members Amanda Echecarria, Dadai Joaquin, Nemalyn Ledda,and more. Their paintings present empowering themes tackling identity, resistance, healing, and spirituality that many Filipino women can resonate with.<\/p>\n Founded in 2023, the Floral Artists of Davao is a creative platform that advocates for women\u2019s rights and amplifies their stories to inspire change in society. The organization has held several art events and its members have participated in various art exhibitions both locally and internationally.<\/p>\n This year\u2019s Women\u2019s Month is about uplifting all women in all sectors. With the national theme, \u201cBabae sa Lahat, Aangat ang Bukas,\u201d it emphasizes the need to give women equitable opportunities, free from gender bias and discrimination. It\u2019s a rallying cry that gives women hope and optimism to achieve their dreams for themselves and their loved ones.<\/p>\n \u201cWomen\u2019s Palette\u201d is both a personal and collective dialogue. It invites viewers to see women\u2019s struggles and triumphs in a different light.
